RGS entrance at year 8

Entrance toRGS for year 8 is by their own test. They only say "Maths Englis and French" and give no further details. Is there anyone on the forum who has done the test in previous years and has any more information about what to expect? Also is there any way we can find out how many places are available for entry next year, and how many boys usually sit the test? The school will not give out this information.

I don't know much about the exams themselves but do know that there are only places if someone leaves. In my son's School alone there approx 9 boys trying for a 13+ place.

There are about 8 places for year 8 as the school was undersubscribed.

Apologies. I misread the topic thinking you meant present year 8 going for year 9 13+ entry.
