Is the 12+ easier or harder then the 11+?
I have missed the deadline to submit the application, can I still submit due to exceptional circumstances?

I don't know about deadlines or whether it is easier etc, but I do know that often the problem is that even if your child passes there may not be a grammar school place available for them. I think the qualification is valid until the end of KS3.

If you are thinking of the 12+ for your current Y6 child (which I think you are from reading you previous posts), the test is taken in the spring term of their time in Y7. The deadline is therefore likely to be at some point in the autumn term of next year - probably late October.
