Oh - I do hope so - he has never been to a school that is within 6 miles of where we live before - and the novelty of attending one that is within 500 metres is incredibly exciting for both of us (we really need to get out more!)

And he has chosen his "prize" - he has decided not to go for the PSP Vita and would like one of the Amazon Kindles so that he can download books for when he is in senior school ...

I am sure this new found enthusiasm will wane soon; but the Kindle is not a bad idea and if he doesn't use it, I will sell it!!

Enjoy the happy dance, I remember screaming all round the 'heart' house (on my own, everyone out at work/school) doing the arm wave and whoop whoop jumps

The Kindle is a fab gift ... my DC got theirs for Christmas and I can't keep up with their reading, no sooner have I downloaded one book that they are on to the next Great way to get them to read
