Raw score

:?: it's been a while since I have visited the forum. Good to catch up and read everyone's post. I'm sure what I'm about to ask has been asked a thousand times but I have searched the whole forum and not succeeding in finding an answer So here goes. What raw score out of 80 will achieve a 121 mark. Plus, how much do I need to account for standardisation. In other words what's a safe raw score. My son just did his first practice iPs paper and got 68/80 in the allocated time. Obviously some work still to do but it was all vocab that he dropped marks on. Any tips (other than reading every day) how to help him? Thanks.

There is a sticky on raw scores from the 11+ obtained by FOI requests.

The general feeling is that 72/80 should be aimed for ... of course each cohort is different.

Here it is. I don't know if the equivalent is available for 2011?

Thank you that's fantastic. Really useful. Looks like 73 is a safe score. A bit of work to do yet then.

Plenty of time yet. Mine didn't even do full papers until about the end of June.
