Hope all your DC's who are visiting their future schools tomorrow have really positive experiences. I'll be thinking of them. Mrs C. :D

Thank you :P . DS2 is very excited - he alredy knows a lot of DS1's friends and those he doesn't know seem to know him so he thinks it will be one big play-time! I can't remember what DS1 thought after his induction day so it will be good to hear DS2's take on it - he'll probably only rememer what they had for lunch  .

I felt surprisingly emotional at BGS yesterday with DS. All that hard work and stress all seemed worth it! I thought BGS was very organised and welcoming, and we can't wait for September! :)

I hope everyone else enjoyed their Induction Day.

My DS didn't have such a great day. He felt everyone had friends from other schools and he didn't. A hard evening telling him it will be OK.

Very sorry to hear that jabba7. Does he find it easy making new friends? (It is something that concerns me about my DS too, but he did recognise some children in his new class from his tuition class!)

Also, I think their Induction Day is quite overwhelming - new school, teachers, classrooms, subjects, students, canteen, commute etc all in one day. It's still early days yet, so fingers crossed for him.
