Catchment area for Bucks

Post by popata »

Hi. Can you advice me please? I live in the HA4 area (Ruislip) and my DD passed the Bucks test. I know of people last year who got into Chesham Grammer from my area but it appears the school now has a catchment area. When would you advise I move into the catchment area for the school? Thanks

CGS has had a catchment area for quite some years, but it allocates way, way beyond it. I posted a while ago that children from as far afield as Manchester and Singapore have been allocated places in the past.

Obviously things can change, and nothing is guaranteed, but "based on past performance", I would say Ruislip is a pretty safe bet.

Well done to your daughter. :D
