Chesham grammar entrance exam - finding out score

Our child sat the CGS entrance exam in Jan for entry in year 8 and has been assessed as suitable for a grammar school having achieved a standardised score above 85. Is it possible to find out the actual score of both tests as this may impact the decision as to whether she continues at her existing secondary school (where she is flying) or moves to the grammar school?

I think you will need to call the school and ask?

I agree - start with a polite request.

Ultimately you could insist:

In the letter from CGS it states the score for verbal and another for maths. Did you not have that in the letter?

No it just states "score is more than the standardised score of 85 in both verbal and mathematics". Is your child looking at entry in year 8 as if the scores are quoted in your letter then they have used different templates. Strange.

Ours is for year 9 entry - It has both verbal and maths score on letter.
