Due to the demand for places further classroom testing sessions for CEM style questions have been arranged.
These sessions provide valuable practice on CEM style content as well as provide an exam style experience suitable for those sitting tests in Bucks, Bexley, Henrietta Barnet School in Barnet, Latymer School in Enfield and Chelmsford County High School in Essex.

Your child will be tested on the equivalent of two long papers and two short papers in each session.

Feedback reports are provided on your child's performance.

SET 3 - 10.15am to 1.00pm
SET 4 - 2.30pm to 5.15pm

CEM Style Numerical Reasoning on  Saturday  8 June

Hello Sally- Anne,
I want to take your advice on this issue:
My ds is in year 4 and doing very well. I was thinking of putting him for the CEM test that is taking place in June in Harrow, just as a practice to see how he will manage.
Do you think I can do that? Will he be allowed to sit the test?

Sorry, I missed this post completely.

I am sure that no one would prevent him from taking the test, but I think you need to proceed with caution.

I am concerned that the standard of the paper might be too challenging for him, even if he is doing well in Y4, and that could be counter-productive for his morale. The paper will be testing up to NC Level 5a/6c, so he would really need to be working at Level 5c or higher to benefit from the experience.
