My child is now in year 4, planning to prepare 11+ exam, live in Dunstable. I purchase some books. I think, I am bit behind, any advice please.
Thanks,
ISE

It usually helps if you mention which school(s) you are aiming for.
Yr 4 is quite early - you are not behind at all

ISE, This is a UK wide forum and the exams have a separate focus and do not include the same subjects in different regions, so we can't really advise you until you tell us which schools you want to apply for. DG

Thank you Reading Mum and DG.

I live in Dunstable, nearest grammer schools are in Buckinghamshire. I am planning to teach my child. It's challenging. Please give some advice.
Thank you
ISE

Bucks has recently changed its test to CEM. check this applies to all the schools you are interested in as academies can set their own entrance tests.

Then research CEM on here - plenty of threads in Bucks forum and elsewhere about this, and also some info for parents about CEM which is available from Bucks CC.

This might help.

You'll probably be best asking for advice in the Buckinghamshire forum, although everyone is in the same boat this year as the format of the Buks 11 plus is changing.

Do you have a ds or dd? If you have a ds you could also apply for QE boys in Barnet. DG

My advice to you would be to find out where your dd sits within her cohort. Then you will be able to find out how much more preparation you need to do. DG
