transfer test
My child is being homeschooled in Bucks, I would like him to have the "mock" transfer test on the 10th like all the other children have. Is this possible?

Re: transfer test
Golly - are you taking tests in Walsall AND Bucks?
Re: transfer test
Have you registered for 11+ testing?
Re: transfer test
Yes we have registered for the 11 plus, ds is due to take his test on the 12th Sept.
Re: transfer test
I would have thought you need to phone admissions and ask.
Re: transfer test
It appears the mock test on the 10th is for children in Bucks schools only-never mind.
Re: transfer test
Have you been told this officially? According to the Transfer Testing Guidance http://www.buckscc.gov.uk/media/885105/ ... dance-.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, "Once registered, children attending schools outside Buckinghamshire will be invited to take the preparation tests in one of the county’s grammar schools."MamaBear wrote:It appears the mock test on the 10th is for children in Bucks schools only-never mind.

Oh thank you so much for this Marylou, I will look into it again. It will be a big help for ds if he can do the preparation tests.
Thanks again

You're very welcome! What made you think the practice test would not be available, out of interest?MamaBear wrote:Oh thank you so much for this Marylou, I will look into it again. It will be a big help for ds if he can do the preparation tests.

We phoned the Bucks county council and the lady said the practice transfer test was for children in Buckinghamshire schools only. I will phone again and quote from what you sent me.
