Re: 12+ in bucks
Don't forget there will be a few kids in year 7 that drop out, due to moving home, not liking the school, or getting hacked off with travelling from the outer Hebridss every day. So keep hopeful!

Good luck to everyone waiting for their letter this weekend to find out whether you have one of the few places available for those that passed the 12+!
Re: 12+ in bucks
Hi just checking in to say that dd got a place at Sir Henry Floyd for this September What a long journey it's been! Dd loves her current school, is doing really well and made lots of friends there but is looking forward to the new opportunity at SHF. Think it will be easier for her to move as she knows 4 others from her primary school that are also going and the bonus is the school does dance GCSE!
Hope anyone waiting for results of a school place got what they wanted.

Very, very pleased to hear the news, buzzybee!
It has indeed been a long journey, but she is finally going to the school that (IMHO) she deserved to be at all along.

Great news, buzzybee - overdue recompense for all the heartache of last year.

Re: 12+ in bucks
Great news buzzybee. My daughter also got a place at SHF so tears of joy and sadness in our house when she realised she was going to have to say goodbye to her friends.
She knows of one other from her school, couple from another Aylesbury school so knows some people going and already knows quite a few there. Music is her thing and I know the music department is phenomenal.
Yes it's been a long journey with SRP, appeal and 12+ but got there in the end.
Now on to my son who takes 11+ in September!!!!!

Wonderful news - yes the music is fantastic! Several appearances at national finals over the past few years and an amzing range of options for making music.

Congratulations to all who have received offers today. My son has been offered a place as the Floyd too:) I am slightly confused though as from what Buzzybee and confusedmum say about knowing other people with offers that seems to add up to more than the 6 places available?! Perhaps they've decided to run another class?
