?

It seems http://www.cs.bham.ac.uk/~mer/colour/primaries.html I might not necessarily be the only person who does.

So... Odd 2 Out: Red/Yellow/Blue/Green/Orange
My answer... Yellow & Orange. (and it seems a reasonable question!)

I thought red yellow blue as well, was alwyas tolfd that it was because you couldn't make these by mixing , green(yellow and blue), purple (red and blue) and orange (red and yellow) are secondary colours.

I notice one of teh links has primary colOrs , perhaps this is one of those american/uk things?

The Encyclopedia Britannica says that green, blue and red are the primary colors of light.
Green ,blue and red are the primary colors of light. A mixture of two primary colors of light can make cyan, yellow, or magenta.

Yellow, cyan and magenta are the primary colors of pigments.A mixture of two primary colors of pigments can make green, red, or blue

This is now like an art lesson on colours...

Upon looking back over the thread, my thoughts went straight to...

It was red and yellow and green and brown
And scarlet and black and ochre and peach
And ruby and olive and violet and fawn
And lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve
And cream and crimson and silver and rose
And azure and lemon and russet and grey
And purple and white and pink and orange
And red and yellow and green and brown and
Scarlet and black and ochre and peach
And ruby and olive and violet and fawn
And lilac and gold and chocolate and mauve
And cream and crimson and silver and rose
And azure and lemon and russet and grey
And purple and white and pink and orange
And blue

Peach, Cream, Lemon and Chocolate are the odd ones out. They are foods.

  SVE.

Oranges and olives are fruits and food too. (I think Mike will vouch for the olives, at least!) Roses, lilac and violets are flowers. Ruby and gold are high value items, but then again gold is a precious metal, and ruby a precious stone, so both are precious ...

The odd one out has to be fawn, because it is an animal.

OK, LBSWM, you want three matching odd one's out? Super-Dame Sa11y-Anne can provide:

Brown, black and blue. They all begin with B.

And your next question is?
