There are so many words to learn, are the repeating the same words again in the exam? I was in search of books to enhance for my child, but couldn't find suitable one. I bought some books which was recommended by this site to practice, any advice please.

In terms of preparation for verbal, I am quite confused. Currently I'm doing cloze (11+essential), comprehension (randomly) and I bought recently contemporary cloze.

How to get old past papers?

Please advice me.

There are no past papers. CEM do not publish them, and this will only be the second year of CEM in Bucks. There is a sticky at the top of the Bucks section about CEM preparation.

CEM have designed the test so that you cannot prepare for it.
You can however, encourage your child to read widely, fiction and non fiction. Encourage them to look up words they don't know.
Go through synonym and antonym lists with them.
Good luck on your 11 plus journey!
