I received initial reply from the Ombudsman today, Unfortunatly to take the matter further (my daughter is the epileptic on strong medication) we have to involve the school as they took no steps to allow her extra time (which she was entitled to). I'm leaving it for now as I want to see what we are being offered in the allocation as the out of county was an equal first choice for us as it has excellent music facilities (my daughter is about to take Grade 4 flute). I may have to go back to appeal for the comp. and will need support from the Headteacher.

p.s. have just found out that I cant have my first choice of school for my 'rising 5' in September. I tried to get her in an out of catchment primary where my childminded twins will start the following term. If you see a crazy women driving around dropping children off at every school in the county (and the next one) - thats me, I'll be using 6 different schools by Easter!
