Catchment question .. OA to 10 miles?????

Quick question. One of schools looking at Wycombe High. Says 2013 they went OA to 10 miles . Does that mean 10 miles from school but out of catchment map... Or is it OA up to 10 miles from where catchment area ends... So a further 10 miles from catchment area zone end???

Also....How do you work out how far you are away with new rules of exact distance straight line not driving?

It's 10 miles from school gate. There is a distance checker on Bucks website.
