Have any Bucks parents had offers/not got offers in Hertfordshire schools?

I'm burning up with curiosity to find out if Herts cut offs will be higher or lower this year.

Hi Sally,
Many thanks for sharing the allocation prof info.
I am OOC and my location is 13.3 miles.
Seems we missed it :-(

Congrats to all who received the offer
And all the very best

Distances will go out as people change their minds so don't give up :D

Which school were you hoping for?

That was Guest55, not me.

I think the distance could move another mile over the coming months, but it might be a bit of a nail-biter for you. There will be appeals for the two Challoners schools, and if any of those are successful, a place or two at CGS could easily come up. There is also a handful of people each year who, despite being offered a GS place, opt for private instead.

Good news here! DD2 got her first choice GS and is off to Challoners so will be thrilled when she gets home.

I would just like to say a HUGE thank you to this forum for its invaluable help in assisting me to successfully navigate both dc through the system. In particular Sally-Anne who selflessly gave up her time to help with dd2's Review recently, at what was a very difficult and stressful time for me personally due to the loss of my mother in the same week as the results. I really couldn't have done it without you.

Good luck to those still waiting to hear or that still have the Appeals process to go through.

Off to the GCSE section of the forum now as DC2 in Yr 9 choosing options this week - another invaluable source of information!

Thanks again and good luck to all.

I am simply delighted for you, mariposa. :D

It was such a sad situation for you and I am very glad that I was able to reduce at least one stress in your life for you.
