The only bus I know is the 800/850 Reading/Wycombe bus run by Arriva. The timetable and route map is on their website. It is the main one used by DCs to get from Wycombe if they don't fancy the walk up Marlow Hill!

Just because there is a bus does not make this journey sensible - please think about a move. Has your son got a place or are you just hoping for one?

I think Rayyan will realise that the 800/850 isn't a serious option for every day use, G55. It arrives just that bit too late or way too early.

Do children really travel from Guildford to Reading each day?
I just can't contemplate a child doing that journey. It must be so isolating socially. Feel very sorry for them. Personally I think there should be some sort of ruling that means children shouldn't be allowed to come from such a distance.

Kendrick and Reading school have an approx 15 mile radius catchment. The catchments are not quite the same. I think it's only some of the outer parts of Guildford that might fall inside that.

In my DDs year there are a few from further away from the outer reaches of catchment but not that many.

Eta here's a map of Kendrick catchment. Guildford isn't included.

Reading catchment on page 6, no Guildford here either
