Dear All,
Where can I find information (if available) the breakup of the questions asked in CEM exams. I mean what percentage is given to VA, English,Maths & NVR.

There are three different sections; VR, NR and NVR. The weighting is different in different areas. There is probably a sticky covering this at the top of the Bucks section. DG

Your child's total score for VR, Maths and NVR will be individually age standardised. Then the age standardised scores are weighted as follows: 50% age standardised VR score, 30% age standardised Maths score and 20% age standardised NVR score. The three weighted standardised scores are then added to give your child's Secondary Transfer Test Score(STTS). The STTS is always rounded down to a whole number.

From what I remember, I don't think there's a set number or percentage of questions allocated to each section.

There is a standard explanation/ presentation given in all the primary schools which covers weighting etc and the standard booklet etc is given out. Ours was always given by the Head and she answered any queries.
