Hi,
My son got 122 in Burnam, 121 in Herschel and 123 in Slough.
His preferences are 1) Herschel 2) Langely 3) Slough 4) Burnam.
We are living out of the county. What are the chances of him getting a place in any grammer school.
Many Regards

Hi Abz
121 'should' get an offer from your first choice...Herschel and, as long as you put Herschel as the first choice on your local LEA's CAF form, that should be the allocation in March. (Herschel offered down to 112 last year)
123 would have got you an offer from Slough but as you have probably qualified for your first choice you will be allocated Herschel.
There is no catchment for the Slough grammars until allocating the final places... then if two children are on the same score the one living nearer the school will be offered a place.
Not sure about Burnham...... I think they were 'all offered' last year which means that all that wanted Burnham and achieved the qualifying score were given an offer.
