Quick question on cube nets

Post by K76 »

Hi,

I have been trying to introduce my DD to non verbal reasoning. I don't know why but I had it in the back of my mind that cube nets do not come up in the Bucks test. Is this true? They come up in the CEM book that I bought so I wanted to check. DD finds it hard so didn't want to spend time on something if it is not too important.

Thanks,

As far as I am aware (have 2 DC who have sat Bucks 11+ so only have limited feedback from them, nothing concrete!) cubes / nets did not come up in either year we experienced but it doesn't mean they won't in the future! My 2 both practised cubes / nets!

Haven't come up yet as far as I know. However, worth doing a bit. They could always come up. I think FTTP books go too far with 3D shapes and cubes/nets

We did a bit on them (there's a CGP ten minute test book on 3d /spacial that is good)
Just in case they came up. I have no idea if they do but it seemed sensible to cover it!
