Beyond that it just depends where everyone else lives, but I find it hard to believe that you will have a problem, being that close.

Thank you for your most comprehensive reply. You highlighted a number of factors which I hadn't considered / didn't know about.
We always knew it would be a tight call but felt that we should be honest in expressing our preferences and whatever will be...! We are fortunate in that (a) Son qualified and (b) we live in catchment for JHGS and SWBGS and, on last year's profile, we would (just) have been allocated RGS so we'll see what happens.
