There is a distance wise big gap between 2017 and 2018 allocations, specially for Aylesbury GS Boys ( 34.9 miles to13.66 miles) and Sir Henry Floyd GS (26.3 miles to 13.22), any analysis/explanation what happened during this time and what are the predictions/forcast for 2019 entry?

Increased population in and around Aylesbury and increased interest in the schools is the short answer. My guess is that the situation won't change much this year because more houses have been and are being built and judging by this forum, there is even more interest in grammar schools and competition for places. The distances may even come down a little further. That's a complete guess but I really don't see them going back to the distances seen in 2017.

From what I remember I think the new PAN of 180 kicked in for the Floyd in 2016 and so distances increased. However the popularity of the Grammars and the number of new houses will only see distances shrinking.

Aqua - how does that add to what's on here already?

It's a new document, published (allegedly!) on 24th October, so we're all experiencing time travel. :D

Although I watch that part of the BCC site very regularly, it is helpful when members flag new information.

It has also led me to this new document, showing qualifiers by location, which is profoundly depressing, as usual:

I will be doing some analysis of it in the next couple of days.

The problem with the document is that people then 'assume' there are out county places - we've been there before on this. Perhaps Bucks admissions are talking to Dr Who? Didn't Tom Baker live somewhere in south Bucks?

Aqua - we encourage people not to just post a link [it could be 'bad'] but explain what it is.

This is the current Year 7 and Bucks post it every year ... I've done some analysis on past spreadsheets comparing KS2 test outcomes for a school against 11+.
