We're currently weighing up the pros and cons of CGS and DCHS for our daughter. She really likes CGS, whereas my preference is DCHS. I'm interested in the gender split at GCS and how that presents in reality in each class. I've heard that form classes can be split as much as 66% boys and 33% girls. Is this your experience? Many thanks.

I've never heard of this.
Although there might be very occasional demographic blips, the mixed grammar schools tend to reflect the population at large: 50:50!

The 2017 Year 11 cohort [according to DfE] was 175 with 97 girls and 78 boys.
