I have posted over in Berkshire but thought you 2 might be lurking over here in Bucks !

Just wanted to let you know my son got his place at Herschel, after all my deliberating on cancelling my Bucks appeal so everything worked out really well in the end. !

Many Many thanks for all your assistance during this roller coaster ride.

I will be back next year as my daughter will be sitting Bucks only in 2009 !

Hi Patricia

We have enrolled her with a tutor on a 1-2-1 basis for Maths, as this is not her strong subject. She is only in year 4 and is going to the tutor for 1 hour every other week till November then it will change to 1 hour every week where she is then do VR only.

Obviously we now know certain tutoring does not work for some people and the way we went with my son would definately not work for my daughter, however the knowledge and really useful information from this site, along with Sally Anne's useful word lists will work a treat for DIY with my daughter as she loves English and word games !
