Allocations
We’ve just heard that our daughter didn’t get SWBGS at 2.68 miles in catchment and one of my friend’s is even closer and didn’t either. The catchment must be well below the 2.7 miles predicted. Want o put her in waiting list, am I right in thinking we will automatically go on and have to opt out?

Re: Allocations
Sorry to hear that. Yes, you automatically go on a waiting list unless you opt out.
Re: Allocations
I’m sorry to hear your news - it’s getting tighter each year - no consolation but when they take the 5th class from year 7 it’ll ease the pressure.
I have 2 children at SWBGS and there is always a little movement in allocations - often at the last minute (both my children had no shows on the first day of term in year 7 ).
Fingers crossed for you.

There is a discussion thread here. It might be best to keep discussions on one thread.
