SPAG before comprehension

Hi,

Currently my son is doing assesment from different provider. For english I have asked my son to do the SPAG etc part first and leave the comprehension for the end. This way you know how much time you have, and SPAG etc can gove you solid marks.

This has worked really well for him.

Is this okay to practice in real exam as well?

Yes. This is a very good technique to be used in the real exam particularly for GL exams.

Good point - but does anyone know if there is a break in the English/VR paper between the comprehension and SPAG exercises? Does the format of the exam allow the candidates to answer the parts in a different order?
