List of Spag topics for Bucks
Hi everyone. My son finds techical English tricky, and I'm clearly not doing a great job of explaining the various concepts to him.I have the SPAG 10 minute test book recommended on the DIY thread, but is there a definitive list of grammar terms that needs to be covered.
Do they need to know the subjunctive, gerunds, present progressive etc..?

I cannot answer your question directly. However, I would suggest purchasing a thorough & well written 11+ English textbook to cover the syllabus, if you have not done so already? Galore Park 11+ English Revision Guide is exceptional and exhaustive. DS worked through it unaided with ease as it is so well-written.
On the topic of books, I found mixed question books (various authors) useful to work through alongside the above, as well as the Eleven Plus Exams targeted practice books (to hone in on any weaknesses). My child strongly benefitted from the following:
