Hi All,

I am totally confused and will be extremely thankful if someone senior can post the format of the Bucks 11 Plus exam

I mean to ask
Maths How many questions and how much time
NVR How many questions and how much time

VR How many questions and how much time?
English How many questions and how much time?

Are these sections in the exam are timed.

For NVR
One exam provider is giving
4 sections (8 questions each) and allowing 5 minutes each for the first 3 sections and
6 minutes for the 4th sections
That exam provider is timing each section separately.

The other exam provider is giving
40 questions and allowing 20 minutes.
There are 5 sections (8 questions each)
and he is not timing them separately.

Timing - NVR/Spatial 4 sections each 5 minutes - see familiarisation booklet

The Non-Verbal/Spatial Reasoning section is divided into smaller sections, each
of which starts with a chance to practise a few questions, guided by the audio
instructions. After that, you will have 5 minutes to complete each of the sections.

The Mathematics section takes 25 minutes (plus 5 minutes practice).

The Verbal Skills test paper takes around 1 hour, with 25 minutes for the English
section (plus 5 minutes practice) and 20 minutes for the Verbal Reasoning section
(plus 5 minutes practice).

Is there any chance that in a real 11 plus exam in English Paper, instead of one comprehension there are three comprehension passages?

The Verbal skills paper is made up of:

English consisting Comprehension and SPAG (25 minutes)
Verbal Reasoning.(20 minutes)

Three comprehensions and a SPAG section taking 25 minutes would be doubtful. However it is up to Bucks/GL to plan the content. Regardless of what is decided, it would still take up 25 minutes of the time as per the published familiarisation.

Dear Patricia/ Seniors,
Sorry again for bothering you.

Please for my own clarification kindly correct me if I am wrong

Age Standardized score of 121 or above is required to get entry into a Grammar School.

Maximum Age Standardized score is 141 or it's 180/181

Lastly, as a parent what should be one's plan for Monday (06-09-2021) Tuesday (07-09-2021) and Wednesday (08-09-2021)

Re the theoretical maximum standardised score, it is completely irrelevant, as the candidates whose score is at least 121 are eligible to apply for a grammar place - 131, for example, gives no advantage over 121.

I am clear with the concept the children need at least 121.

A bit confused as when doing the Practice papers at home trying to figure out the percentage as read/heard from somewhere that percentage required is 67% so I am a bit confused whether its 67% of 180/181 i.e 121 or its something else.

It's not a percentage as it's a standardised score. This means that the number of correct questions required may be different each year & may be different for children born in different months.
