Just wondered about this...if the GS doesnt have enough passes at 121 do they have a look at the 120's, then 119 etc untill they are full up..?
Im sure Ive heard of that in the past....maybe...!

I'm afraid not - it's 121 or a successful appeal.
The only exception is RGS, who sometimes cast around to fill their places towards the end of August. As they are a Foundation school they can set their own entrance test for that process.
Several grammars had the equivalent of 2 empty classes in Year 7 last year.
