Out of County? Read these links to the national press
The right of parents to send their children to grammar schools in neighbouring counties is under threat. This issue was raised in The Sunday Times, 25 January 2009, and the Telegraph, 26 January 2009. Buckinghamshire is specifically mentioned. Please attach press links on this subject as you see them.
This has nationwide implications and is a serious threat to the remaining grammar schools. Talk to your MP.

I think it is only unfair if entry is done on score. Provided admissions is done according to distance from school gate with all those scoring above the 11+ pass mark considered then generally those in catchment will get the places first and only then will OOC children be considered. I realise if it is done on score then clever children will be able to travel from miles away to secure a place to the detriment of local children.
