Colyton results

Post by Petunia »

Has anyone had their Colyton results yet? I thought I'd read that in previous years the emails had been sent at midnight.

Some areas get the allocation data on March 1st at midnight but I've never heard of the results being sent at that time.

Thanks for your reply. Looking back through the Devon section someone says:

'Email sent by school to us around midnight. Good luck to everyone. We are very pleased that DD is cat A.'

In the Colyton results thread for 2012. Of course, it might be completely different this year.

Got our result around 5pm. My DD achieved an eligible score :) though we are pleased, the email is a bit straight forward. Im expecting more details like the one i read from previous post... how many applicants, how many in category A, B, C... I guess it doesn't matter, just being nosy ;)

We got ours just after five too. So pleased DD got an eligible score. But I was also expecting more information. No cat A or B this year.

our son got in but his friend did not, waiting until Monday to see how many of the others from his school got in. Currently still a bit numb, immensely proud and a little scared. I hope he can keep up and makes friends. It would all be easier if we knew if anyone he knows gets in..

Well done everyone whose child got an eligible score for Colyton assessments.

My daughter's email also came through after 5 on Friday. She got an eligible score too so I'm off course very proud. I was just wondering if anyone else had a paragraph about liklihood of being allocated a place if Colyton is put as our first choice? I don't know anyone else who took the Colyton assessment so not sure if it was a standard paragraph for all who got an eligible score?

Ours said:

If Colyton Grammar School is listed as your first preference on the Common Application Form, I would expect xxxxx to be allocated a place for September.

Is this the same as yours?
