Paperwork arrived today for 2016 entry

Post by Twinmumdorch »

We received an envelope today from PGS for one of my daughters with lots of forms for us to fill in and information on a parents evening, music tuition and an invite for her to spend the day there on July 1st. I haven't told either of the girls about it yet. If we win the appeal I assume that a second envelope will arrive for my other daughter. Anyone else get anything for their boys or for BSG yet?

Please do tell your daughters about it.

Twin 1 mustn't feel like she has done anything wrong, just because her sister was not successful - she may have nerves or worries about going and you risk exacerbating these by not being upfront and honest. Celebrate and be excited and supportive to Twin 1 (and twin 2) in the way that, should your appeal be successful, you would want Twin 1 to celebrate and be supportive of Twin 2 if she gets her place.

I will tell the girls, when I am ready to tell them. They have had a lot to cope with lately so the time needs to right. She knows she hasn't done anything wrong so I'm not sure what that means. We are taking her on a practice school run this week so she can see where she will get off the train and then where the bus will pick her up from. It might seem more real to her then.

Good luck with the appeal - the more i think about the situation i really feel for you. It sounds like you have pretty good grounds to appeal!
