March 1st Outcomes 2019

Post by Onedayonechance »

I thought it would be helpful for future years if we posted, school applied for, scores, results and location (ie in catchment or ooc) as it is very difficult to find score statistics on previous years.
Good luck to all those waiting for the email.

Good idea. Dorset is one of the quieter sections so it will be good to have some more input. Good luck to everyone waiting. :D

Great news thanks for posting, especially interesting as first year of new catchment area.

Poole Grammar, 340, in the new catchment area, place offered.

Very interesting, the stats are out and I was wrong 28 children ooc got into Poole and 13 ooc got into Parkstone. Would be interested to know how Poole chose the pass mark, is it deliberately higher to let the high scoring ooc kids a place?

Do you know what the Bournemouth stats are?

My daughter got into BSG, in catchment, with 326 - we are right on the edge of the brand new catchment area!

My friend’s daughter has been offered a place (out of catchment) for Parkstone. She scored around 335. My twins were out of catchment in their year and you needed 325 that year for a place in the 180 PAN. They are year 9 now.
