I thought I’d start a post for the results of school allocation. We are nearly there
I hope everyone gets the result they are hoping for.

Hie hun, thanks for setting this up.

Quick summary, Our DS1 and DS2 are already in a grammar school. DS3 took the entrance test for this intake, however he missed the pass mark.

We pondered on whether to appeal, but we found out that two of our local secondary schools have grammar streams (one of which, outperforms the grammar schools).

DS3 decided he loved one of the schools so much that he didn't want to go to a 'full' grammar school anymore, and decided he wanted to go to the local comp, with the view of joining their grammar stream.

Today we were offered our first choice school, and we are all over the moon.

Note to all, please never lose hope. Everything happens for a reason.

The initial sadness of missing the passmark for the grammar school where his siblings are, is long forgotten. We have one very happy bunny.
