Yes, CEM exam results are standardised for age.Kon wrote:Trying to spot if there is a correlation between CEM and CSSE results from this post it looks like it is not linear, the only point can be made seems to be that most if not all who ‘passed’ CEM has also ‘passed’ CSSE. Is CEM score also standardised? Thanks

373 CSSE ooc for Southend and Westcliff but I guess she's safe
114.76 CCHS ooc.
Was hoping DD will get into CCHS but not sure now.
1st DD went to CCHS and 2nd DD in Southend. Love CCHS more but...

Looking at the collated cut off thread, a score of 107.33 was first on the waiting list for IC, and a score of 107.?? was offered.pg19 wrote:please can someone explain this?
The cut-off mark will be determined as the score 2% lower than the last score offered
on National Offer Day in the preceding year of entry, for those permanently residing
within the 12.5 mile priority area.
MY dd got 109, is she in safe zone?
Thanks
Assuming that this was the lowest score to be offered, and was 107.99 (to give the highest cut-off mark), then this years should work out at 105.83 max (at 2% lower)...
Re: chelmsford county results 2019
National offer day is 1-March, it is the first round of offer not the lowest score offered after the waiting list, I think.AlP80 wrote:Looking at the collated cut off thread, a score of 107.33 was first on the waiting list for IC, and a score of 107.?? was offered.pg19 wrote:please can someone explain this?

Yes indeed. And the score of "107.??" from the collated cut off thread refers to the lowest score offered on March 1st 18.
I have used 107.99 as a guide, as this is the highest 107.?? score you could have. It could be anywhere between 107.33 and 107.99 in reality but, as we don't know for definite, this would give the highest guesstimate possible.

FYI,
My daughter started CCHS this year and there have been pupils leaving already as places have become available at Henrietta Barnett.
This 2% I see talked about, isn't it just relevant to looked after children and those receiving pupil premium??

Yes just for pp and looked after, 10 places for pp if they score at least 2% below last years cut offschoolbook wrote:FYI,

'The 2% lower score....' - is this not just for looked after/PP children? Or are they quoting this year it will be 2% less than last year cut off? There is a saying that scores are high this year but what about the IC scores? The cut off last year in March was 107.xx . Do we know what was the last score to get in until September this year? Also, how do we get the list of scores as per FoI please? That should help us see the scores and the rankings of where the IC starts/ends?AlP80 wrote:Looking at the collated cut off thread, a score of 107.33 was first on the waiting list for IC, and a score of 107.?? was offered.pg19 wrote:please can someone explain this?
