Grammar School Exam

Hi,

When is the exam normally taken? Is it towards the end of Yr 5 or early Yr 6?

Early November of year 6 (in Essex).

[First-timer]

Third weekend in November of Y6. Shortly afterwards for children unable to sit the test on the Saturday.

The exact date is Saturday 19th November this year. I've tutored for the 11plus for many years but this year I have my own DC taking the exam! I imagine it will be a much more anxious time. At least next year I will have gone through the parent experience so will be able to draw on this in future years.

Blitz, can you PM about Tutor recommendations since you have been one for many years. We live in Harlow Essexand we need one for our daugther. She is in Yr 4 now going to Yr 5 in September
