Hi

I was suprised to discover that the only way my DS can get quickly into Chelmsford from Basildon is to travel out to West ham.

Can anyone please let me know if there are any other options or ways that this journey can be done

I know that the 100 bus goes from Basildon to Chelmsford via Billericay - does that help at all? I assume you've checked the CSSE website and that there aren't any consortium buses that suit?

First bus run a dedicated school bus no. 561 for which you can buy tickets via the CSSE transport office. The journey from Basildon takes approx 1 hour. Don't know how this compares to the train though.
