this year was the placings out of everyone who put that school on their list?
why is this different to last year?

It is the same as last year. This was the third year it had been done in this way.

It appears there is a difference this year. I was told by someone that had called the CSSE that this year the listings include all the applicants for that school regardless of the choice number. Last year the results were based on the schools listings. It would be nice to get this clarified as this question has been raised in other posts.

I cam confirm the above post, my daughter was ranked between 121-130 for CCHS and was offered, I thought they only take 120 so called the csse for confirmation. They explained that her position was out of all those who had put CCHS on their list and that some of the girls above had expressed preferences for other schools so this year we won't know position for the offers of those who got CCHS. she also told me that the cut off for CCHS was about 340, my daughter's score was 7 above this.Hope this helps.
