the school organised it. It was the first time they have done it.
It was a very good idea as we parents and our sons got to meet up with some of the boys they will be travelling with. As a parent I was put as ease knowing there were many boys travelling in along the same route some also had older brothers who have been travelling down for several years.
therefore train routes, times and costs could be discussed between the parents

I know this thread is old but I was wondering if you managed to get a bus service via A13 to whsb ?

If not do you use train Im am trying to work out the best route for DS to take.

Any feedback would be welcome

Hi my daughter will be starting shsg in september and i also live of eastern avenue so a bus service would be suitable however the train service is also a good method as its quicker which, means you would have to drop your DS at barking station.

Yes, we did - the service started in September and travels from Chafford Hundred along the A13 to WestCliff Boys/Girls, as well as Southend boys.

Were is it you want to travel from?

okay can help you there as there are children already using the service from stanford-le-hope - send me an email to joeflint@hotmail.co.uk and I'll reply giving you the details on the bus company.

Post a reply here when done.
