Admissions to Colchester Royal Grammer School, score needed?

Could anyone give me a rough guide of the score or overall percentage needed in order to get a place at Colchester Royal Grammer School? There seems to be quite a range depending on which school you are applying for and it would be very helpful to have an idea of what to aim for. (Feeling a bit worried now as there is not much time left for revision)

It will vary but 3 years ago ( current year 9's) mid 340's was required which judging by ds's scores would be an average % in the low 70's.

Last year 333 got a place which equated to 69% over the three papers. Hope this helps.

Hello Jabba.......Here are my son's scores from the 2010 11+. These results secured him a place at CRGS. I suggest you find the subject "scores 2011" which is where members posted their childrens scores.



English Score 18/50
Mathematics score 31/40
Verbal Reasoning Score 65/80
These three results are adjusted to take account of any variations in the
difficulty of different papers each year and combined to produce your child's
overall, standardised, weighted score of: 333.782

My son scored 331.5 last year and just missed out on a place at CRGS... it all gets very close, sometimes down to decimal places I guess.

For CCHS (chelmsford) the last place awarded was 343. A lot higher than the other schools.
