When applying for 4 schools on CAF and you choose to put a Southend school but live in Chelmsford Essex CC, Do we have to apply to Southend Council as well? I am getting all these last minute questions as to whether I am doing everything correctly.

Hi , no it's not necessary to apply to Southend lea. No matter which authority the school(s) you're applying to are in you just fill in the Essex form. I did mine on line the other evening and it was really simple. If you put an out of area school it just asks you to confirm the reason eg it's a selective school.
