Exam Day in Colchester - A Few Queries
Posted: Tue Jul 10, 2012 11:07 am
I was wondering if I could ask a few questions about exam day?
The last time one of my children sat the 11+ was more than 7 years ago so perhaps things have changed. I've asked her if she can remember stuff but time seems to have dulled her memory I've also asked DD's school and I haven't got a useful or definitive answer...hence my questions here
These may sound like silly questions but I don't want to get things wrong for DD on the day and I want to make sure that what we practice now, is going to be okay.
1. Are you allowed to take in and use highlighter pens? My eldest used them to highlight specific things on answer papers when she sat hers.
2. Do you stay in the same room for each exam or do you go to a different room for each?
3. Are there any breaks between exams and if so,
a) for how long and
b) are you allowed to leave your seat or do you stay seated?
4. Is the child provided with a spare sheet of paper for each exam?
Many thanks
