Non verbal test timing

Does anybody know if the pupils have a countdown to zero for these tests? Wondering whether to tell my son to guess the difficult questions or work them out (if he has time).

Don't know about NVR as it isn't part of the Essex exam but in VR the candidates are told when half of the time is gone and when there are five minutes remaining.

Thanks for the response. The tests are only 10 minutes long, but hopefully they will do something similar.
