Usual rules please. Factual information only. I've made another thread for discussion/whooping/panicking!

Links to the threads that were created to log the scores for both CCHS, CRGS and KEGS.

Hi have been lurking around for a while and here's my first post

Have just received email with ds's results

English 29/50
Maths 28/40
VR 55/80

Standardised Score 338.268

Received additional sheet advising that the lowest score in the last four years to secure an offer on 1st March was 333.

Does this mean my ds stands no hope or may end up on the waiting list?

Sorry forgot to say we were hoping for CRGS.

Madcow good score for Southend Grammars. Borderline Chelmsford in catchment I would say. Would say that has chance for CRGS. All DC sat the 11+ 3 months earlier so comparison with 333 from previous years is misleading.

Unfortunately as we are North Essex our only choice is CRGS. :(

Sounds OK for CRGS to me - until we have more scores we'll not know how the general spread looks though....

We are writing to let you know your child’s results in this year’s CSSE Selection Tests.
Your child’s raw scores in the three tests are as follows:
English Score 24/50
Mathematics Score 33/40
Verbal Reasoning Score 68/80
These three results are adjusted to take account of any variations in the difficulty of different papers each year and combined to produce your child's overall, standardised, weighted score of: 355.281

Thanks for posting the scores. They look great! If you don't mind me asking, is it your DD or DS?

Don't think it's alphabetical, we're T and scores just in for my daughter:

English 26/50
Maths 26/40
VR 60/80

Standardised score 336.861

Deemed to be just under what's required for CCHS (in catchment), well above requirement for WHSG and SHSG (out of catchment).
