Do you mean Chelmsford! In or out of catchment? Either way quite likely.

Your score is in the green category! Prior to the catchment change the Chelmsford grammars anticipated that the qualifying scores would drop slightly for those who are in catchment.

Thanks so much for your input. This is all new to us as it is our eldest daughter. I looked at the attachment providing guidelines from CSSE and felt good initially however when looking at the forum some of the results are extremely high in comparison so doubt is setting in....

The results come in a wide spread. The parents who make the effort to find this forum are not representative of the whole of the candidates.

When I used to teach it was rare to hear of candidates above 340! Yet this forum is full of them.

Most parents I have come across had not heard of this forum and don't have the knowledge or the inclination to help their children beyond a tutor/school.

The children whose parents have made it here are more likely to be high scoring as they have parents who are capable of providing support.

Even with the users on the forum I am frequently contacted privately to discuss a lower score, that a parent doesn't want to post.
