Does anyone know the when to expect remark results? Or the time scales they work to, from date of request?

Very quick indeed. A couple of days in the case I've heard about.

Not sure this will be any help but...

Just attended ChelmCHS today, Head teacher repeated that papers are marked 3 times, and examiners have to agree; She really wanted to put anyone off requesting a remark!

Head teacher also said that no-one could put in an appeal yet; as the closing date for applications is end of this month, so no-one has yet applied to any school, let alone been made/declined an offer; its only on the 1st March that you know. She stated no appeal would be considered until after a place had been not been offered ie not until the beginning of March!!! Its only after March that you have a decision to appeal against.

I heard from someone today. The scores were checked and nothing changed.

The papers are not like gcse papers. The questions are either right or wrong.

Does this mean that anyone considering appealing would effectively need to put the school on the CAF form, knowing they will fail to get a place in March, and then appeal?
