For last year, 2012 entry, there were 804 for ChCHS and 530 for ColCHS. I don't think this year figures would be much different. The total number of DCs sat the 11+ in September 2012 were 3987 and 38XX the previous year. So if you ask be to quote number, I would say between 1300 to 1400. If you want the exact number then contact CSSE directly. Hope this help.

When I asked CSSE back in October they said they don't break out by gender but it was roughly 50/50. I think I typed up the historical data of total numbers taking 11+.

Now we don't have rankings we have alot less info, but presumably there was also double counting when there were rankings as many girls would apply to both.

Many thanks, that's helpful to have an idea. So if a pupil came about 150th, she's done pretty well even tho she hasn't got a place!

Without rankings, I'm not sure any of us can know where our DC's have come.
