10-15 minutes walk, lots of SHSG girls catch that train. She'll be fine :-)

DD only started this week and by Monday afternoon had already received instructions from a group of girls living nearer to London as to which coach she should get into at Chalkwell to join them :). It is all very sociable. The train which arrives at Southend East at about 0754 is very popular, but the one arriving at 0809 (which we caught when she went to take the retest - just 3 short weeks ago although it feels like a century  ) is quite busy, too.
