Transport from Redbridge to KEGS
Hi All,
My boy is considering KEGs but we live in Redbridge. Does anyone know of any transport arrangements from Redbridge to KEGS? I guess it takes about 45 minutes to an hour. If there are any parents in the same situation, do you feel this is too long a journey and might affect the boys overall performance? I know I'm exhausted when I get to work after a long 45 min train journey.....
thanks

I don't know about Redbridge to KEGS, but my eldest son travels for an hour each way. Yes, you do lose a bit of the day and it can be tiring but he tends to socialise on the bus/train and spends his evenings working, so it's a fair balance for him.
For sure, he needs the middle and end of term breaks though.
My wife tells me she used to do most of her homework on the bus between Canvey and Grays Convent School as a girl. Didn't stop her getting a degree and a post-grad.
