General question regarding secondary schools
Hi
My daughter suffers from migraines. At primary school she only has one class teacher who is aware of the situation and will send her to the office when my dd requires her medication.
At secondary school, they have many teachers. How does this kind of thing get handled? Would my dd take her medication in her bag with her and just self administer it as required? I am curious as to how the information regarding her migraines would be disseminated amongst the staff and how they would handle it if she were to have a migraine whilst at school.
I think there are others on this forum who also have children with migraines so I am hoping someone will be able to answer my question.
Thanks!

You will have a medical form to complete. The student reception/ office will hold the medication. She will be on the medical list so all her teachers will be aware. It may be worth adding a note in her planner just in case she has a cover teacher etc.
